Three ways to use wind data to plan smarter

1. Choose the best departure time. Wind often shifts by time of day. A morning ride might face calm conditions; the same route in afternoon could be windy. By checking wind at different start times, you can pick the window when wind will be lightest, especially useful before a big effort or on a fixed schedule like a group ride.

2. Adjust your pacing strategy. If your route has a 15 km headwind section followed by a 20 km tailwind descent, you know to hold back during the headwind and recover on the descent. Without kilometer-by-kilometer data, you'd waste energy fighting an unexpected punch.
